Mateo Nieves, wines from Bodegas Enrique Mateo in the Segovian Ribera del Duero
Mateo Nieves is the wine brand of Bodegas Enrique Mateo, part of the Mateo Wines group. Its five reds — Tinto Fino, Roble, Crianza, Selección Especial and Monastrell 12 Meses — come from vineyards between 950 and 1,025 metres in the Ribera del Duero of Segovia, with vines planted in 1941 and 1946 on clay soil with silt and sand. The family legacy begins in 1898 with Manuel Nieves and was revived by Enrique Mateo.

Time is the ingredient that can't be bought. You work the land, tend the vineyard, and wait. That's how Mateo Nieves was born.
